Love can also be a noun. It not only is an action but a distinct
feeling and emotion, which in many cases is a noun. In fact, if you
look up love in the dictionary, the first given meaning of it is a
noun (when listed as the first of many meanings of a world,the first
definition is the sense in which the word is used most often), as
you can see below.
