These two were selected by Soli Sorabjee, Attorney General of India, in response to a letter from a group of school students. Along with poems sent in by others, one of these will be published a book entitled A Poem for CRY (the charity Child Relief & You). The royalties from the book will go to CRY. Sorabjee quoted two, leaving the choice to the children to select one.

To quote Sorabjee,"When one has a host of favourite poems, selection of only one is a formidable challenge." (The Sunday Express).
