Re: * famous quotes * Urgent need for your help.
For about four years I have lurked, read and thoroughly enjoyed submissions
to the list. Now, I suddenly find myself in urgent need of assistance from
members of the list.
I am in the process of writing an article for our local newspaper and there
is a line that I want to include. My problem is that I suffer from
Partial-Onset Epilepsy. I don't pass out but I do experience severe
electrical seizures in the brain. It is gradually robbing me of my memory.
I told my wife of thirty years, "I love you with all of my heart and will
continue to love you for as long as I can remember just who the heck you
are!"
As silly as it may sound, I can not for the life of me remember whether I
wrote the line I want to include in the article or read it somewhere in the
past. The last thing I want to do is plagerize the fruits of someone else's
labor or fail to give proper credit where it is due.
The line is:
"Happiness is not found in obtaining more things.
True happiness lies in finding joy in the things you have."
I would deeply appreciate any help that list members can provide.
Respectfully,
Rev. Charles Stanley, Retired
