[ world famous recipes ] Savoury Pie
SAVOURY IMPOSSIBLE PIE

1/2 cup plain flour
2 cups milk
4 eggs
3 1/4 oz [ 90g ] butter ,melted
1 cup grated tasty cheese
2 slices rindless bacon, chopped [ or 1/2 cup chopped ham ]
1 tomato, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
seasonings to taste.

Sift flour into a bowl. Make a well in the centre of the flour.
In a large jug, whisk milk with eggs and butter.
Gradually pour the milk mixture over the flour and whisk
to combine. Add half the cheese and all remaining ingredients
to the milk mixture. Combine well.
Spoon mixture into a deep greased pie plate.
Sprinkle top with the remaining cheese.
Bake in moderate oven [ 180 C ] for 35 to 40 minutes
or until firm. Serve in wedges with salad.
